Former opener Sunil Gavaskar has said that Virat Kohli can come close to Tendulkar's record of 100 international centuries.

In the recent ODI series against South Africa, Kohli scored 302 runs in 3 innings, thanks to 2 centuries.

Kohli is now on the list with 84 international centuries, out of which 53 are ODI centuries.

Gavaskar said that if he plays for another 3 years, he can achieve this record.
