Fully prepared to deal with divisive forces that undermine national stability, says Field Marshal
Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has said that the Pakistan Army is fully prepared and determined to deal with internal and external challenges, extremist ideologies and divisive forces that undermine national stability.
Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has visited Gujranwala and Sialkot garrisons.
According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Field Marshal was briefed on the operational preparedness of the formation and important steps taken to enhance its combat capabilities.
The ISPR said that the Field Marshal observed the field training exercise and modern simulator training facility. The Field Marshal praised the high professional standards and overall preparedness of the formation.
The Pakistan Army spokesperson said that the Field Marshal emphasized the importance of technology-based coordination, being aware of the situation and making timely decisions are essential in a modern combat environment.
The Field Marshal spoke to the officers and men and appreciated their high morale and unwavering commitment to national security. The Field Marshal emphasized the importance of rigorous, objective-oriented training.
According to the ISPR, the Field Marshal said that the Pakistan Army is fully prepared and determined to deal with internal and external challenges, extremist ideologies and divisive forces that undermine national stability.
Upon arrival in Gujranwala, the Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces were received by Corps Commander Gujranwala.
