Conflicts are a threat to global peace; Pak-India war could have proved dangerous, Ishaq Dar
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has said that the ongoing conflicts in the world are a threat to global peace, and a Pak-India war could have also proved dangerous.
Addressing a ceremony in the federal capital Islamabad, Deputy Prime Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar termed the ongoing conflicts in the world as a threat to global peace. He said that a Pak-India war in May could also have proved dangerous.
The Deputy Prime Minister also termed climate change as a major challenge and said that rising temperatures and continuous floods are having a devastating impact on the economy.
Ishaq Dar pointed out the changes in the global economic scenario. He condemned the massacre of Palestinians in Gaza by Israel.
The Deputy Prime Minister said that Pakistan supports negotiations and diplomacy to resolve conflicts. In his address, he also highlighted poverty, illiteracy and sudden disasters among the major challenges faced in South Asia.
