Iran Ready to Resume Talks with the United States, Informs Pakistan

A significant diplomatic development has emerged in ongoing efforts by Pakistan and Qatar to ease tensions in the Middle East. According to reports, both the United States and Iran have submitted their responses to new mediation proposals presented by Pakistan and Qatar aimed at reviving stalled negotiations and reducing regional tensions.

According to an exclusive report by the Arabic news outlet Al Arabiya, Washington and Tehran have conveyed their respective positions on the proposed framework to the two mediating countries.

The report claims that Iran has assured Pakistan it is prepared to resume negotiations with the United States under the framework of the Islamabad Memorandum. Tehran has reportedly expressed its willingness to hold talks in Geneva, Doha, or Islamabad.

According to the report, Iran intends to discuss issues in a specific order during the negotiations. It wants to first address the Strait of Hormuz, followed by the release of its frozen assets, and finally its nuclear program. However, Tehran continues to reject the establishment of any new maritime corridor through the Strait of Hormuz.

The reported diplomatic progress comes at a time when the United States has refrained from launching attacks on Iran for the second consecutive night, while Iran has also avoided targeting U.S. interests in the region.

Iranian military spokesperson Mohammad Akrami Nia confirmed that no U.S. attacks had taken place over the past two nights. He stated that since Iran's military strategy is primarily based on responding to aggression, the country has also suspended its military operations during this period.
