Trump appoints beauty parlor owner lawyer to key position
US President Donald Trump has appointed beauty parlor chain lawyer Maura Namdar to a key position.
Maura Namdar has been appointed as Assistant Secretary of State for Consular Affairs, where she will make important decisions such as visa approvals, travel regulations, and passport issuance and cancellation.
Maura Namdar is not only an experienced lawyer but also runs her own beauty parlor chain in Texas. She had previously worked in the same sector temporarily during Trump's first term.
Some quarters have expressed surprise at her nomination and said that she runs a beauty business, but her supporters say that she is also a lawyer and has previous experience in this field.
